Sonny Boy” Richardson has finally come home from Vietnam where he has spent the last ten years a “Missing In Action” statistic. Anxiously awaiting his arrival, are his mother Veranda; his father Cleoyus; his two sisters Valdesta and Theodora, who were just babies when he went away; his uncle Elston; and his uncle’s extremely attractive daughter Samantha. The Richardsons are a very close-knit family, but little do any of them realize just how close they really are until it comes time for them to welcome “Sonny Boy” back into the fold.
